Beginning to make sense of it all.
Curiosities:
  • a preponderance of Iron Age finds
  • signs of cattle ingress
  • a deliberate northern entrance, with a modified wall
  • a 'classic' southern entrance with threshold stone, post holes and stone slots
  • Neolithic and Bronze Age finds
  • no sign of a hearth
